Position Summary:
We are seeking a Line Cook Cold Station to join our kitchen team in a high-volume restaurant environment. This position is responsible for the preparation, organization (mise en place), assembly, and presentation of cold dishes using fresh, high-quality ingredients while adhering to hygiene, food safety, and consistency standards.
The ideal candidate has prior experience working a cold station, is organized, detail-oriented, and performs efficiently in fast-paced environments. The ability to work as part of a team and maintain a clean and orderly work area is highly valued to ensure an excellent dining experience for our guests.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present food in accordance with restaurant standards
- Organize the kitchen and maintain inventory control
- Supervise and support kitchen staff as needed
- Comply with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by the chef or management
Requirements:
- Previous kitchen experience, preferably in a cold station role
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques applicable to cold food preparation
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
