What You’ll Do:

We are hiring skilled and dedicated Access Control Specialists to provide a safe environment, and We are seeking qualified and dedicated Access Control Specialists to oversee visitor clearance processes. This role involves responding to requests via telephone, email, and in-person interactions with residents, members, and other authorized personnel. The successful candidates will uphold direct and consistent communication with Public Safety Personnel throughout the island and at the West and East access terminals.

  • Obtain clearance authorization from residents, members, and management personnel following established clearance procedures and entering visitor information in the clearance system
  • Responsible for fielding incoming security phone calls & emails
  • Maintain knowledge of emergency phone call procedures and relay of information to emergency personnel (i.e. Weather-related emergencies, medical emergencies, etc.)
  • Provide information to security, fire/rescue and police
  • Use a radio base station or portable radio to communicate with Security and other departments along with Dispatch system.
  • Maintain the highest level of customer service at all times and ensure confidentiality is maintained within FICA interests.
  • Perform other duties as requested

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Knowledge of computers
  • Must be able to type 25WPM
  • Ability to handle emergency calls
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Able to work any shift, including flexible schedules, nights, weekends & holidays.

What We’re Looking for:

To be successful in this position, we are looking for team members who excel in providing excellent experience for our residents, employees, guests, and contractors. Two years or more of customer service experience and handling heavy call/email volume. This role requires Ability to stand and walk on nearly a constant basis, Indoor/outdoor environment-Prolonged sitting or standing, Indoor/outdoor and public interaction business environment.

Licenses, Certifications, Registration: Requires a Driver’s License
