Job DescriptionThe Science Team at Russell Tobin is currently supporting a client in the biopharmaceutical industry and has opening of Operational Excellence Manager in Boca Raton, FL (hybrid).
Position Summary:
The Operational Excellence Manager is responsible for leading and supporting process improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance, quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness. This role partners with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement efforts, establish performance metrics, and ensure successful project delivery aligned with business objectives and industry’s best practices.
Additional Details:
Contract Length: 12 Months with the possibility of extension
Pay range: $52 to $ 72/hour on W2 as per your experience
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties)
- Plan and implement process improvement initiatives aligned with industry best practices
- Lead, support, and coordinate projects focused on improving performance, quality, efficiency, and cost
- Establish, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify opportunities
- Ensure projects are executed and delivered according to defined milestones, budgets, and timelines
- Coordinate site-wide project activities across multiple sites and functions within a global organization
- Coach and mentor teams on re-engineering, continuous improvement, and operational excellence methodologies
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process management or operational excellence roles
- Proven success in project management and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams
- Willingness to travel up to 40% as required
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Six Sigma certification or formal training
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
