Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Located in Stuart, FL, this position offers an opportunity to provide Speech-Language Pathology services within K-12 schools on a contract basis for the current school year. The assignment runs from January 5, 2026, through June 2, 2026, with flexible full-time and part-time schedules available. Services will primarily be delivered across several school locations in the Southeast Florida Coast area, including middle and K-8 schools, as well as private school evaluation settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students across varying grade levels, including middle and K-8 students.
- Manage caseloads independently, sometimes as the sole SLP onsite.
- Conduct evaluations in private school settings requiring a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Collaborate with onsite speech-language pathology assistants (SLPAs) and other educational staff.
- Support students with diverse communication needs, including those in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) cluster sites and InD units.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is required.
- CCC-SLP certification necessary for evaluation roles.
- Experience working within school settings preferred.
- Ability to manage caseloads independently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Locations & Schedule:
- Assignments vary but typically involve placement at one school site.
- Locations include Ft. Pierce, Port St. Lucie, and nearby areas.
- Schedule ranges from 1 to 5 days per week depending on assignment.
- Specific postings include Dan McCarty Middle School, Forest Grove Middle School, Oak Hammock K-8, and Private School Evaluation Team.
