Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Naples, Florida. In this role, you will oversee essential accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Responsibilities:
• Manage month-end close procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Oversee general ledger activities, including maintaining account balances and verifying transactions.
• Prepare and post journal entries with precision and attention to detail.
• Reconcile accounts to ensure consistency and compliance with financial standards.
• Conduct bank reconciliations to validate financial statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounting workflows and processes.
• Monitor financial data to identify trends and address potential issues.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for accounting entries.
• Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger management and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing journal entries.
• Demonstrated ability to reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy.
• Familiarity with bank reconciliation procedures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
