Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL (Fully Onsite)
Schedule: Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm
Compensation: $24-$26/hour
Industry: Automotive / Dealership

About the Role

A leading auto dealership in Palm Beach Gardens is seeking an Accounting Clerk / Banking Specialist to support daily accounting operations, banking activities, and reconciliation processes. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and experienced within dealership accounting.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Responsibilities

  • Process and reconcile daily deposits, credit card transactions, and cash clearing activities.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable including posting payments and updating customer accounts.
  • Post factory parts invoices to the General Ledger accurately and efficiently.

Weekly Responsibilities

  • Process and reconcile rebates and incentive payments.
  • Review assigned schedules and ensure accuracy and timely follow-up on outstanding items.

Mid-Month Responsibilities

  • Assist with inventory reconciliation (verification, variance review, documentation).

Monthly Responsibilities

  • Reconcile reserve statements and ensure all supporting documentation is properly maintained.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an automotive dealership accounting office preferred.
  • CDK experience highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of reconciliation, cash handling, and A/R processes.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet strict daily/weekly/monthly deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and general accounting software.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work fully onsite in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
