Job Opening: International Purchasing Agent/ Medical Devices
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented International Purchasing Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing products and materials from international suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and evaluate international suppliers and vendors.
· Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
· Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
· Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
· Collaborate with internal departments to meet purchasing needs.
· Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and exchange rates.
· Ensure compliance with company policies and international trade regulations for Medical Devices.
· Preparing status reports.
· Study sales records and inventory levels of current stock to develop strategic purchasing programs to improve efficiency and availability.
· Responsible for managing import operations and negotiations with the customs broker, including the timely closure of entries under TIB (Temporary Importation Bond).
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, International Trade, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in international purchasing or procurement.
· Strong negotiation and communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
· Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus).
· Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
