We are seeking an enthusiastic Human Resources Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the HR field while supporting our mission to provide clean energy solutions.
Position Overview
The HR Intern will work closely with the Human Resources team to gain practical experience in core HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, and compliance. This role is designed to provide exposure to real-world HR practices within a growing solar company, offering mentorship, training, and the opportunity to build valuable professional skills. The intern will also be expected to complete weekly assignments or reflection papers to support earning academic credit through their college or university.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruitment processes, including job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination.
- Support new hire onboarding, ensuring proper documentation and smooth integration into the company.
- Participate in HR administrative upkeep, including auditing employee files, maintaining compliance records, and assisting with process improvements.
- Collaborate with the HR team on special projects and initiatives as needed.
- Complete weekly assignments/papers as required by their academic institution to receive internship credit.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, with a major or minor in Human Resources or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a team-oriented environment.
