Instructional paraprofessionals work under the direct supervision of certified teachers to support classroom activities. Their core duties include reinforcing lesson plans in small groups, assisting with classroom management, preparing instructional materials, supervising students, and tracking student progress.
The responsibilities of an instructional paraprofessional are generally divided into three main categories:

Record-keeping: Taking attendance, grading assignments, and helping with assessment administration. Material prep: Making copies, creating visual aids, and preparing worksheets.
