Essential functions
<ul>
<li>Under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent and the Assistant Superintendents performs pesticide applications on golf course properties. </li>
<li>Spray Tech is responsible for appropriately applying all chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers associated with grounds and golf course maintenance.</li>
<li>Responsible for reading, understanding and keeping current with Safety Data Sheets and pesticide labels; responsible for compiling reports of pesticide usage (spray cards).</li>
<li>Executes the spray program as directed by the Golf Course Superintendent. </li>
<li>Maintains application equipment chemical storage and mixing areas in compliance with county, state and federal regulations.</li>
<li>Perform safe mechanical operation and calibration of application equipment.</li>
<li>Must be able to safely operate a golf cart.</li>
<li>Inspect all areas of property to determine pesticide and fertilizer needs.</li>
<li>Apply pesticides and fertilizers as appropriate to maintain proper condition of golf course and grounds.</li>
<li>Implement Integrated Pest Management practices.</li>
<li>Maintain product inventory with appropriate recordkeeping.</li>

<li>Must be knowledgeable and experienced with tree care, hazard tree evaluation, integrated pest management and industry approved tree care practices</li>
<li>Preferred: Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates</li>
<li>Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist ® and&nbsp;TRAQ</li>

You’d be responsible for:
<ul>
<li>Detecting and making necessary repairs to the irrigation system</li>
<li>Accurately reading various gauges &nbsp;related to the irrigation system</li>
<li>Managing employees and overseeing production in the field</li>
<li>Operating light/heavy equipment effectively and according to all regulations</li>
<li>Ensuring that equipment is maintained and managed; alert supervisors if there are any issues</li>
<li>Reporting any problems with job site or equipment immediately</li>
<li>Demonstrating role model behaviors on ethics and integrity as well as positively promoting Company culture&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
You might be a good fit if you have:
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 2 year of experience</li>
</ul>
And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:
<ul>
<li>Strong work ethic&nbsp;</li>
<li>Knowledge of blueprints&nbsp;</li>
<li>Effective oral and written communication skills</li>
<li>Bilingual (Spanish)&nbsp;</li>
<li>Irrigation certification&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ability to work in extreme conditions – temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit</li>
<li>Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time</li>
<li>Ability to load/unload trailers (up to 50 lbs.)</li>
<li>Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day</li>
<li>Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic&nbsp;</li>
<li>Work near or about natural bodies of water</li>
<li>Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (some overtime/weekend work required)</li>
