Job Overview: 
The Program Director is responsible for the successful implementation, ongoing management, strategic growth, and day to day success of the Wound Healing &amp; Hyperbaric Program for their designated center. This includes responsibility for operations, personnel, budget, reimbursement, marketing, and management.
 
What You’ll be Doing:
<ul>
<li>Lead the Wound Healing &amp; Hyperbaric Program, ensuring compliance with CFWH standards, hospital protocols, and regulatory bodies (e.g., Joint Commission, UHMS). </li>
<li>Oversee day-to-day operations, equipment, space, and supplies management.</li>
<li>Run, process, and submit reports as required for hospital and CFWH staff; making recommendations for continuous improvement. </li>
<li>Prepare audit reports and implement action plans. </li>
<li>Ensure all regulatory and compliance standards are met, including in-service training and staff competency.</li>
<li>Manage staff, including but not limited to, handling performance evaluations, staff development, and disciplinary actions. </li>
<li>Organize regular staff meetings to ensure communication and operational efficiency.</li>
<li>Ensure the accuracy and completeness of patient records, maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and certification standards. </li>
<li>Audit patient bills, review charges, and support reimbursement efforts with payers.</li>
<li>Monitor program budgets to ensure financial targets are met. </li>
<li>Collaborate with hospital billing and revenue cycle teams, ensuring timely and accurate charge entry and documentation.</li>
<li>Facilitate the recruitment of wound care and hyperbaric physicians. </li>
<li>Conduct outreach to referral sources, schedule presentations, and track marketing efforts to drive patient volume and program growth.</li>
<li>Conduct regular program and hospital visits to ensure efficiency, open communication, and program success.</li>
<li>Support hospital efforts to maximize program reimbursement, including holding staff and physicians accountable to ensure patient charts are accurate and signed on a daily basis.</li>
<li>Ensure staff maintains certifications required by governing bodies.</li>
<li>Tracks marketing efforts and census results against company goals established for each center.</li>
<li>Consistently adheres to company, hospital, and accrediting body clinical, safety, and compliance standards.</li>
<li>Ensures compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) by safeguarding patient information and maintaining the highest level of confidentiality standards.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>

Requirements for This Role:
<ul>
<li>5+ years of management experience with direct reports required.</li>
<li>Must have active Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).</li>
<li>3+ years of previous healthcare experience, preferably in a hospital outpatient wound care environment and in a program operation setting. </li>
<li>3+ years of sales and marketing experience required.</li>
<li>Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from approved agency.</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and revenue cycle.</li>
<li>Basic financial/profit and loss knowledge.</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office or related systems. </li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Ability to treat others with compassion and patience.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.</li>
<li>Must possess excellent interpersonal skills. </li>

<li>Energetic people-and-pet person with excellent work ethic and social and organizational skills</li>
<li>Willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays</li>
<li>Full-time employees may be required to travel for on-site training and onboarding</li>
<li>Prior customer service experience</li>
<li>Prior experience working with animals in a hospital setting</li>
<li>Must be able to lift 40 lbs</li>
<li>This position requires regular on-site presence as an essential function of the role. Due to the nature of veterinary hospital operations, in-person attendance is necessary to support patient care, respond to time-sensitive needs, collaborate with clinical teams, and maintain the safety and well-being of patients, clients, and staff.
