Leidos QTC Health Services is seeking a Clinic Office Manager in Orlando, FL to support our Clinic Services team!&nbsp; The Clinic Office Manager is responsible for the operations and administration of a Leidos QTC medical clinic(s). Ensures clinic efficiency through collaboration with cross-functional team members, coaching and mentoring clinic staff. Manages a clinic budget to ensure expense goals are met. Responsible for communicating and resolving physician, customer, and Examinee inquiries, incidents, and complaints. Serves as a liaison with all internal and external customers and ensures compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations.
Primary Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Manage day to day operations of assigned clinic(s) to include planning and coordinating work assignments of all clinic staff.</li>
<li>Be responsible for hiring, performance reviews, setting staff expectations, onboarding new employees and daily approvals of employee timekeeping.</li>
<li>Coach, mentor and train employees for growth and development opportunities in skill, knowledge and empowerment</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure excellent quality, timeliness, and customer service throughout the entire claimant and customer experience.</li>
<li>Be responsible for ongoing on-site provider satisfaction through engagement and retention efforts.</li>
<li>Train and implement policies, procedures, goals and objectives for assigned staff.</li>
<li>Ensuring strict confidentiality of all medical records, PHI and PII</li>
<li>Consistently audit clinic(s) to meet established operational and safety standards (e.g., expired supplies, annual fire inspection, fridge temps, sharps disposal, equipment calibration, etc.)</li>
<li>Manage clinic(s) budgets to include medical and office supply inventory.</li>
<li>Assist Regional Managers with provider scheduling.</li>
<li>Review and analyze clinic metrics to ensure meeting company goals (e.g., weekly, quarterly, annually, etc.).</li>
<li>Assist in the examination process of patients, measure vital signs, interview patients, record information on patients’ charts, and conduct a variety of diagnostic testing.</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's Degree in a health care related field w/ 4 years of related experience or Master's Degree w/ 2 years (Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree)</li>
<li>2 or more years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects preferably in a clinical or medical practice environment.</li>
<li>This is a working manager position.&nbsp; Must be able to support back office duties when needed.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)&nbsp;certification required within 30 days of starting.</li>
<li>Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize, delegate, and communicate effectively.</li>
<li>Must be able and willing to travel 10-15% of the time supporting the various clinics assigned or to other areas as needed.</li>
<li>An understanding of medical terminology</li>
<li>The ability to learn and understand new proprietary software applications.</li>
<li>Valid US driver’s license required</li>
<li>A valid National Certification from one of the following Associations:
<ul>
<li>National Health Career&nbsp;(NHA)</li>
<li>American Association of Medical Assistants&nbsp;(AAMA)</li>
<li>National Association for Health Professionals&nbsp;(NAHP)</li>
<li>American Medical Technologist&nbsp;(AMT)</li>
<li>National Center or Competency Testing&nbsp;(NCCT)</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>One of the following: Medical Assistant, RN, LVN, LPN Diploma or EMT Certification or experience as a Military Medic or Hospital Corpsman.</li>
<li>Clinic operations experience a plus&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
