FTE: 1.0 - 40hrs. per week

JOB SUMMARY:
Purchases and maintains inventory records of medications and pharmaceutical supplies and whenever necessary accesses reimbursement drug programs to secure medications to meet the specific needs of ambulatory patients. This includes researching and gathering information on the status of orders back-orders debits credits and finding alternative sources for back-ordered items; coordinating delivery of medication to the appropriate patients; developing a close working relationship with case managers and other members of the medical team; and tracking receipt and delivery of reimbursable pharmaceuticals. Other duties can include but not limited to general secretarial responsibilities report generation preparation and other duties as designated by the Regional Ambulatory Pharmacy Manager.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Education (or equivalent years of experience):
Required for consideration: High school graduation or equivalent.
B. Experience (or equivalent education):
Required for consideration: Three years of related experience.
C. Certifications
Required for consideration:
• Florida Board of Pharmacy Registration
• PTCB Certification within 6 months of hire
