Anticipated Salary Range
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Behavioral Sciences and Social Medicine - College of Medicine
Responsibilities
- Recruiting and screening study participants, performing an informed consent process, scheduling study visits, training participants to use study technologies, collecting physical measurements such as height, weight, and blood pressure, and conducting interviews and assessments.
- Conducting webinar and telephone coaching sessions with participants, maintaining detailed records of results which may include collecting, extracting, and entering data, preparing basic charts and graphs, performing scientific literature reviews in support of the research, and completing portions of grant applications and documents associated with regulatory guidelines, requirements, laws, and research protocols.
- Training new research staff to interview and conduct participant assessments, facilitate communication with other lab personnel, and other duties as assigned.
- Prepare meeting notes and progress reports, etc.
- Coordinate calendars to schedule meetings, maintain digital document repositories, order and receive supplies, and maintain office equipment inventory.
- Make travel arrangements and plan/organize conferences.
Qualifications
4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree in a major such as social or health science.
Must complete Florida State University's required CITI trainings prior to interacting with any participants and must re-certify every 3 years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with health coaching, health education, and/or motivational interviewing a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in a social science field.
- Previous research experience is a plus.
