Job Summary:
The Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) is seeking an experienced Sr. Front-End Developer / Application Development Analyst (Advanced) to support the Office of Information Technology Services (OITS). The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise-level web applications while ensuring high-quality user experience and adherence to modern development standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and support enterprise web applications.
Develop responsive, scalable, and high-performance front-end solutions.
Define and document application development standards, best practices, and UI/UX principles.
Lead front-end architecture and technical design decisions.
Build complex user interfaces without heavy reliance on frameworks.
Conduct code reviews and maintain high code quality standards.
Research and implement modern front-end technologies and development techniques.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Required Skills & Experience:
8+ years of experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
4+ years of experience with TypeScript, SASS, and LESS.
4+ years of hands-on experience with Angular 8+.
4+ years of experience using Angular Material or similar Angular UI libraries.
4+ years of experience with NgRx (or equivalent State Management) and RxJS.
Strong understanding of software development best practices, including MVC/MVVM, .NET architecture, design patterns, and writing testable, maintainable code.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with enterprise-level application development is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing large-scale enterprise applications.
Strong UI/UX design and implementation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile environment.
