Requirements
Qualifications:
The West Palm Beach office of Kubicki Draper, is currently seeking an Insurance Defense Legal Assistant with 1+ years’ experience with experience in litigation. 
Prior personal injury experience a plus but not required.
Must have prior experience managing attorney calendars/scheduling, and drafting legal documents including standardized letters, pleadings and reports.
Must have working knowledge of Florida court procedures and be familiar with e-service and e-filing.
Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Scheduling depositions and hearings;</li>
<li>Calendaring deadlines and trial orders;</li>
<li>Prepare enclosure documents and packages for mail, messenger and overnight delivery; ensure that all attachments, exhibits and enclosures are intact;</li>
<li>Prepare, file, and serve legal documents electronically or in hard copy in accordance with the applicable civil rules and local rules;</li>
<li>Assist with client billing, as well as invoice payment in cooperation with the billing attorney;</li>
<li>Must be competent &amp; proficient in the use of Word, and Adobe;</li>
<li>Candidate should have excellent communication skills, manage deadlines, ability to follow up on items and be detail oriented;</li>
<li>Must be goal oriented; and</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast paced evolving environment as part of a team.</li>
