We are seeking a Controller to join our Finance team.&nbsp; The Controller will play a crucial role in the agency by providing oversight in the financial record keeping and reporting for The Lord’s Place Finance Department.&nbsp; The candidate will report to the Chief Financial Officer and provide accurate and timely financials for the Board of Directors, Finance Committee, and Program teams.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Job Description
What You Will Do
<ul>
<li>Oversee front desk operations and step in as the go-to problem solver for guests and teammates alike.</li>
<li>Handle guest check-ins and check-outs with accuracy, warmth, and just the right amount of charm.</li>
<li>Support and train new front desk team members-you're the friendly coach they'll thank later.</li>
<li>Resolve guest issues quickly and professionally (bonus points if they leave smiling).</li>
<li>Help manage daily tasks like event sheet distribution, business center support, and keeping the lobby guest-ready.</li>

What We Are Looking For

<li>Customer service experience - You've got the people skills and patience to keep things running smoothly.</li>
<li>Experience in hospitality or leadership (preferred) - This isn't your first rodeo, and it shows.</li>

Fairstead is seeking an Associate, Portfolio Management to join our real estate team. In this role, you will play a key part in both the financial and operational performance of our national portfolio. You will be responsible for analyzing property-level financials, tracking key performance metrics, and supporting strategies that enhance asset value and drive long-term returns.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Conduct thorough financial analysis, including cash flow projections, budgeting, and financial modeling to evaluate the performance and potential of each property.</li>
<li>Create and manage asset-level business plans including execution of identified initiatives throughout the calendar year</li>
<li>Work closely with affiliated management company to devise and carry out property strategies and business plans for each property, including site visits</li>
<li>Assist with communications and reporting with lenders, investors, and third-party owners</li>
<li>Complete RFPs and other tasks related to third party property management opportunities</li>
<li>Responsible for the portfolio roll-out and operations of ancillary business ventures</li>
<li>Review asset performance to identify revenue opportunities and expense saving projects across Fairstead's portfolio</li>
<li>Work with compliance department to ensure properties are in good standing</li>
<li>Prepare ad hoc internal performance reports and updates for senior management, investment, and other stakeholders</li>
<li>Present investment strategies, financial analyses, and portfolio performance in a clear and concise manner</li>
<li>Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, property management teams and outside brokers</li>
<li>Assist with making recommendations for refinancing, disposition, or other capital events to achieve determined financial milestones or outcomes.</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Minimum 3+ years real estate experience required</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree required</li>
<li>Experience in asset management and/or operations in the multifamily asset class</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience with the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program gained from asset management, operations or development.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to work cross-departmental through Fairstead's different verticals</li>
<li>Knowledge of the NYC residential and retail rental market a plus</li>
<li>Financial modeling (Microsoft Excel) and analytical skills</li>
<li>Demonstrated competency in financial statement analysis, business valuation, accounting and finance.</li>
<li>Yardi and RealPage experience</li>
<li>· Team – oriented, organized, strong project management skills and follow-through</li>
<li>25% travel required</li>
