What You’ll Do

Position Summary:

<li>Uses knives, hand tools, utensils, and equipment to portion, cut, slice, julienne, whip, beat, maintain holding temperature, chill, freeze or otherwise produce food for the dining room.</li>

Requirements: 
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>Previous experience in sales or a related field.</li>
<li>Knowledge of integrated security systems (intrusion detection, surveillance, access controls, etc.) is helpful.</li>
<li>Experienced with MS Office, smartphones, iPads, and personal computers.</li>
<li>Comfortable with technology and learning new software and systems.</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.</li>
<li>Proactive prospector, politely persistent, focused, action-oriented, and competitive.</li>
<li>Quickly develop an understanding of customer needs through asking the right questions, listening to their responses, and offering tailored solutions.</li>

<li>Successful completion of state certifications within the first 3 months, as required by law, to sell home security.</li>
<li>Pass a drug screen and background check. </li>

<li>Reliable transportation.</li>

Job Type: Full-time, non-exempt 
Work/Base Location: West Palm Beach, FL 
Work Hours/Availability: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Monday through Friday. Flexibility to accommodate customer schedules and occasional Saturdays, when needed.
Travel: Mainly local, but there may be occasional out-of-town travel for training, customer meetings, or industry events.

What You’ll Do
As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first and last impression for our guests, ensuring they feel welcome from the moment they arrive until they leave. Your mission is to manage reservations, coordinate seating, and enhance the guest experience while maintaining a smooth front-of-house flow.
Key Responsibilities

<li>Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression</li>
<li>Manage OpenTable reservations and coordinate seating to optimize service flow</li>
<li>Assist guests with special seating requests whenever possible</li>
<li>Communicate table availability and wait times to guests in a professional manner</li>
<li>Provide menus and introduce guests to their server upon seating</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and organized host stand and menu area</li>
<li>Answer incoming phone calls, provide information, and handle reservation inquiries</li>
<li>Assist with concierge outreach and brand representation at off-site events</li>
<li>Monitor the dining area, update the Maître D/Lead Host on table status, and help coordinate seating rotation</li>
<li>Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return for another unforgettable experience</li>
<li>Assist fellow team members with bussing tables, running food, or supporting service as needed</li>
<li>Adhere to health and sanitation regulations and uphold THE ONE GROUP’s high hospitality standards</li>
<li>Always represent THE ONE GROUP professionally, this includes maintaining an elevated appearance and being comfortable in heels (if applicable)</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned by management</li>
