Nicklaus Children's Health System and Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the health system’s physician-led multispecialty group practice, have an exceptional POOL/Staff Relief opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible (BC/BE) fellowship-trained neonatologist with a minimum of three years of experience (preferred) for an established and respected Level II NICU located in Palm Beach County.
About the Neonatology Opportunity
Join a comprehensive perinatal and neonatal program for babies in a Level II NICU in a burgeoning market. &nbsp;Applicants should possess a passion for advocacy and improving care for all children. The BC/BE neonatologists (3 years of experience highly preferred) will be responsible for:
<ul>
<li>attending deliveries</li>
<li>3,000 + deliveries per year</li>
<li>providing prenatal consultations to high-risk babies</li>
<li>resuscitating and stabilizing newborns in the delivery room</li>
<li>rounding on well babies, as well as provide leadership, oversight and supervision in the Level II nursery</li>
<li>providing 15 days/month</li>
<li>Live within 30 miles of hospital</li>
</ul>
Candidates should be proficient in:
<ul>
<li>newborn resuscitation, including neonatal intubation</li>
<li>umbilical line placement and peripheral cannulation</li>
<li>lumbar punctures, etc.</li>
</ul>
Nicklaus Children's neonatology program is consecutively ranked among the best in the nation by U.S. News &amp; World Report. It was the first of its kind in South Florida and receives referrals of the most critically ill neonates from hospitals throughout Florida, Latin America and the Caribbean. The Level II NICU is part of the NCPS Section of Neonatology and the neonatologists will have access to the educational and professional development resources of Nicklaus Children’s Health System.

The HR Assistant provides daily support to our recruiting and operations team. You will assist with candidate communication, scheduling, onboarding, data entry, customer service, and office administration. This role requires strong English and Spanish communication skills and the ability to multitask in a high‐volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Provide bilingual (English/Spanish) communication with candidates, clients, and internal staff</li>
<li>Support recruiters with job postings, resume review, interview scheduling, and follow‐up</li>
<li>Assist with onboarding tasks: applications, I‐9s, E‐Verify, direct deposit, and compliance forms</li>
<li>Collect and verify weekly timesheets for payroll processing</li>
<li>Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) records and update candidate files</li>
<li>Greet walk‐in applicants and assist with applications and assessments</li>
<li>Prepare emails, documents, and reports for the recruiting team</li>
<li>Coordinate calendars, meetings, and interviews</li>
<li>Deliver excellent customer service in person, by phone, and via email</li>

Qualifications
