Job Description 
Primary care is more than prescribing contacts and eyeglasses. Our optometrists report seeing a high amount of anterior and posterior segment pathology in their practices. They manage ocular disease to their comfort level, including but not limited to:

<li>Treating corneal ulcers and uveitis</li>
<li>Red eye</li>
<li>Diagnosing diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma</li>
<li>Removal of foreign bodies</li>
<li>Diagnosing macular disease, retinal holes and retinal detachments</li>

Qualifications 
Doctor of Optometry Degree (OD) from an&nbsp;Accredited School of Optometry
State Licensed or will be licensed to practice Optometry (New Graduates)&nbsp;in the state in which you will be practicing.

<li>Your tasks and responsibilities as a Sonographer include but are not limited to:</li>
<li>&nbsp;Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner</li>
<li>Perform sonogram examinations in accordance accurately and in a timely manner</li>
<li>Responsible for imagining, recording and processing ultrasound images</li>
<li>Obtain and document complete patient history as it relates to the procedure ordered and informed consent</li>
<li>Maintain statistical results for quality improvement</li>
</ul>



Qualifications

<ul>
<li>A two-year Allied Health degree or successful program completion at a 12-month CAAHEP approved School of Ultrasound Technology</li>
<li>ARDMS registry: RVT, AB or OB/GYN specialty(ies)</li>
<li>Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification</li>
<li>One (1) to three (3) years experience as an Ultrasound Technologist (or Sonographer)</li>
<li>Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, computer (MEDITECH), and clerical skills</li>
<li>Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions</li>
