Position Summary:
The Superintendent of Golf Course and Grounds will be a hands-on leader responsible for providing exceptional golf conditions, Club landscaping, grounds maintenance, and course renovations. This includes developing and implementing weekly, monthly, and annual goals and objectives, not limited to agronomical programs, budgeting, crew management, record keeping, irrigation, construction and project work, fertilizer &amp; pesticide applications, scouting, water management, attending committee meetings, and communicating effectively with Club management and members.

Responsibilities Include:
Turfgrass Management:

<li>Overseeing all aspects of turfgrass maintenance, including mowing, aerating, topdressing, and chemical and fertilization applications.</li>
<li>Monitoring and controlling irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and distribution.</li>

Pest and Disease Control:

<li>Developing and implementing integrated pest management (IPM) programs to control weeds, insects, and diseases.</li>

Duties and Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>This position lives with girls ages 12 to 17, providing daily hygienic oversight, therapeutic support/group counseling related to teenage girls, and therapeutic outdoor adventures.</li>
<li>The Outdoor Youth Counselor provides therapeutic support to 10-12 teenage girls who struggle with low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, family conflicts, neglect, and poor academic performance</li>
<li>Provide daily supervision and support to residents in a structured and safe living environment. Serve as a co-teacher while youth attend the on-site school each day. Monitor youth behavior and ensure environment is conducive to learning.</li>
<li>You will have the unique opportunity to live on-site and foster positive relationships, guiding and mentoring youth as they navigate personal and educational challenges. </li>
<li>As a live-in residential counselor, flexible schedule availability is required including some nights and weekends. Responsible for overall supervision of the youth which includes supervision 24 hours a day for 5 days a week. The purpose of 24/5 flexible schedule availability while on-site is to support residents in crisis situations and provide conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques. About our Program
Camp E-Nini-Hassee was founded in 1969 by Jack and Ruth Eckerd as the first outdoor therapeutic program for girls at-risk in the southeast. We provide a positive, strength-based environment for girls ages 12-18 to experience nurturing guidance. We present a reality-therapy approach in a residential, outdoor therapeutic environment, using alliances with staff and group therapy to provide safety, adventure, and education. Each girl receives individualized treatment and is supported with family services. We provide an accredited education on site with certified teachers and transferable credits. We help girls considered at-risk who are struggling with school, causing family conflicts, experimenting with drugs, experiencing depression, have low self-esteem, or are exhibiting emotional problems and behavioral issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

<li>Successfully complete State of Florida Criminal History Background Check requirements as well as meet the Association’s policies on background screening</li>
<li>Adhere to drug/alcohol/smoke free workplace policy</li>
<li>Enthusiasm for the sport of gymnastics and children</li>
<li>Understanding of liability and safety issues therein.</li>
<li>Knowledge and understanding of skills and progressions regarding gymnastics instruction.</li>
<li>Knowledge and understanding regarding the YMCA of USA’s Gymnastics guidelines, policies, and recommendations.</li>

Swim Instructor Job Description Reports to: Aquatics Supervisor/Assistant General Manager Description: Swimtastic Swim Instructors are responsible for upholding and teaching in accordance to the Swimtastic Swim School teaching certification and curriculum. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

<li>The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with Swimtastic curriculum in a fun, positive manner.</li>
<li>Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts.</li>
<li>Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills.</li>
<li>Ensure swimmer safety.</li>
<li>Maintain proper equipment and time organization to ensure timely class start times.</li>
<li>Provide Deck Supervisor with class information (ribbons, student changes, etc) to keep proper class organization.</li>
<li>Provide customers with monthly, individualized feedback on swimmers during Splash N Tell week.</li>
<li>Maintain proper Swimtastic uniform standards outlined in employee handbook.</li>
</ul>
Other Duties: 
<ul>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned by management.</li>

Position Qualifications and Requirements: 
<ul>
<li>Previous swim instruction experience is required.</li>
<li>Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant required.</li>
<li>WSI certification preferred.</li>
<li>Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs.</li>
<li>Training in the Swimtastic curriculum will be provided.</li>
<li>Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds in weight.</li>
</ul>
Uniforms: Instructors are required to wear Swimtastic uniforms which include logoed female one piece suits and male board shorts. Swimtastic Swim School will cover 50% of the cost of one uniform per calendar year per employee. Additional uniforms must be purchased by the employee from Swimtastic Swim School at or below cost. The uniform must be maintained in a clean, professional manner. If at any time a supervisor determines an employees uniform is inappropriate he/she may require the employee to purchase an additional uniform. If at any time a uniform is not being worn during assigned instructing hours a supervisor will ask you to put on your uniform. If no uniform is present you will be required to buy a new uniform or be sent home without pay.
