DEFINITION Under the general direction of the Utilities Superintendent, plans, develops, organizes and directs operations and maintenance activities in the management of the daily operations of the City of North Lauderdale’s Water Treatment Plant. Assists in the administrative, technical, and supervisory work in the management and daily operation of the treatment plant, samples collection, analysis and reporting. Coordinates and supervises work activities of treatment plant personnel through observation and written reports of compliance with established State and Federal Regulations. 
The incumbent reviews and supervises the work of subordinate personnel involved in daily treatment operations and is responsible for the effective, efficient, and safe operation of the plants and the associated infrastructure. Technical expertise is essential as error in technical judgment could result in extensive damage to the environment, facilities, or both. Position exercises a high degree of independent judgment in selection of work methods and procedures, subject to review by the Utilities Superintendent. Work is reviewed through conferences, reports, and observation of the operational success of the systems and achievement of objectives. 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 
• Directs and makes operational adjustments to process equipment, as needed, to meet all regulatory requirements; supervises the performance of general maintenance including mechanical and electrical repair of equipment; and maintains a daily log of plant operations. 
• Completes required operating reports and submits to regulatory agencies on a timely basis. 
• Checks and evaluates operations log sheet, and prepares daily reports and graphs for supervision. 
• Conducts training courses in operational procedures of plant equipment to include the proper handling of equipment and chemicals. 
• Assigns operators to adequately cover each shift. 
• Analyzes operating data and makes recommendations to Utilities Superintendent concerning changes in operating procedures. 
• Works after-hours as needed to address or solve operational problems either by phone or by reporting back to the plant. 
• Performs Emergency Response duties as assigned for all emergency conditions. 
• Interprets operating data and adjusts operating procedures, if needed, to ensure continuous and efficient treatment as per the operating permit requirements. 
• Orders treatment chemicals and other materials, for use in the treatment process, and ensures their safe delivery, storage, and use. Maintains accurate records as required. Establishes safety precautions against occupational hazards. 
• Requisitions personnel, material, equipment, and tools for proper plant operations. 
• Ensures proper staffing to comply with the operating permit requirements. 
• Supervises and trains operators in lower classifications in treatment processes, completes employee evaluations, approves leave, conducts interviews, and recommends employment, promotions, demotions, and terminations, as appropriate. 
• Maintains a perpetual inventory of equipment, furniture, and chemicals.

Investigate all available sources of credit and financial information including reporting services, credit bureaus, and other companies for trade references. Understand the market(s) and industry in which the customer does business. Assess the collateral pledged as security. Meet with and/or call borrower and accountants.</li>
<li>Prepare and present financial information, industry data, economic influences, and other market information in the required format and analyze in detail for trends, ratios, cash flow, etc. Prepare analytical credit memoranda which are accurate and insightful, which identify and examine all risks, analyze sources of repayment, cite policy exceptions, and evaluate collateral. <li>Maintain a thorough understanding of the credit culture and loan policy to inform, articulate, and advise of risk appetite and policy adherence and exceptions.</li>

Key Roles of a Restore Assistant General Manager People Management Assist in cultivating a team environment that provides exceptional customer service while working with the Ownership to ensure all staff members perform at a high level. Lead and influence staff through motivation and leveraging individual strengths to ensure customer satisfaction and maximum productivity. Assist in the management of disciplinary actions involving all Restore employees. Provide in-the-moment feedback and coaching to your team when necessary. Oversee the onboarding and training of all new non-medical employees. Work with the Ownership to adapt your team to new system procedures, education and performance expectations. Operations Management Ensure all opening and closing procedures are followed, stepping in to complete as needed. Maintain a safe, clean and secure environment for all guests and employees. Continuously improve operational execution through attention to detail and adherence to Restore operating standards and philosophies. Act as the point of reference for general issues/concerns that may arise while the Ownership is not present. Serve as an expert on Restore products and services. Operate as an example, coach and guide for the team's technical skills, sales strategy and orientation toward hospitality and education. Work collaboratively with the Owners, Lead Nurse and Operations Team to improve the stores overall effectiveness and efficiency. Lead on the floor and embody Restores core values. Proactively identify and address difficult situations, manage conflict confidently and escalate issues appropriately. Make timely and effective decisions regarding customer service issues. Work a minimum of one weekend day per week. Support Ownership to ensure all company-wide initiatives are executed in your store. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by and in the absence of the Ownership. Sales &amp; Marketing Check in with Restore members regularly to ensure theyre achieving their health and wellness goals. Deliver individual sales goals and motivate your team to reach their targets. Work collaboratively with the Ownership to manage and exceed all sales goals for the entire team. Manage declined auto-pays and follow up on expiring credit cards. Follow up on missed appointments. Process freezes/terminations in a timely manner and send email communication to members. Assist the Ownership with store marketing and community outreach. Responsible for meeting performance metrics (KPI's), revenue, ordering, inventory, payroll, cost controls and facility maintenance as set by the General and Regional Manager. Assist the Ownership in planning and leading monthly team meetings. Plan and promote special events for the store each month using Restore tools for effective outreach and community involvement. Identify and execute opportunities for corporate partnerships and community impact in collaboration with the Ownership.
