Job Summary
As an Excavator/Dozer Operator, you’ll play a key role in site development and earthmoving operations. You’ll operate both excavators and bulldozers to prepare construction sites, move materials, and ensure surfaces are graded to exact specifications. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position that requires strong equipment skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Your expertise will directly contribute to the successful and timely completion of our construction projects.
 
Key Responsibilities
Operate Excavators &amp; Dozers:

<li>Safely and efficiently operate excavators and bulldozers for site preparation, trenching, backfilling, grading, and earthmoving tasks.</li>
<li>Follow technical plans and grade stakes to achieve precise cuts, slopes, and levels.</li>
</ul>
Site Preparation &amp; Earthwork:
<ul>
<li>Clear and grade land, excavate foundations, dig trenches, and assist with utility installations.</li>
<li>Push, spread, and level dirt and gravel with dozers to create a smooth surface according to design specifications.</li>
</ul>
Accuracy &amp; Precision:
<ul>
<li>Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and grade stakes to ensure excavation and grading work is performed accurately.</li>
<li>Use GPS or laser-guided systems as needed to assist with fine grading.</li>
</ul>
Routine Equipment Maintenance:
<ul>
<li>Inspect machines daily and perform routine maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation.</li>
<li>Report equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime.</li>
</ul>
Team Collaboration:
<ul>
<li>Work closely with other equipment operators, laborers, and supervisors to coordinate job site activities and maintain efficient workflow.</li>
</ul>
Safety Compliance:
<ul>
<li>Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and environmental guidelines.</li>
<li>Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and participate in safety meetings and job hazard assessments.</li>
</ul>
Maintain Clean &amp; Organized Work Area:
<ul>
<li>Keep work zones safe, organized, and free from hazards. Properly secure and store equipment when not in use.</li>
</ul>
Troubleshooting:
<ul>
<li>Diagnose and resolve minor equipment malfunctions in the field; escalate more serious mechanical issues to maintenance teams.</li>
</ul>
Documentation &amp; Reporting:
<ul>
<li>Complete daily equipment logs, job reports, and communicate with supervisors about site progress and any challenges encountered.</li>
</ul>
Other Duties as Assigned:

<li>Assist with other construction or labor-related tasks as needed to support team and project goals.</li>

Requirements:
