Position Summary:
The Greenskeeper/Landscaper team performs many outside tasks to help prepare the golf course for daily member play. Tasks involved for the job but are not limited to general operation of mowing equipment for greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and common areas. Raking of bunkers, waste areas and cart paths, and operations of handheld equipment such as weed eaters, fly mowers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, and blowers. 
Responsibilities:

<li>Performs general landscape maintenance using hand-held equipment. </li>
<li>Rakes and maintains bunkers.</li>
<li>Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming, and mowing. </li>
<li>Performs tasks related to course detail such as weed and debris clean up. </li>
<li>Assists with golf course setup procedures. </li>
<li>Operates utility vehicle for hauling material and removing debris. </li>
<li>Performs duties such as plugging and pruning.</li>
<li>Operates equipment and performs duties safely. </li>
<li>Performs many outside tasks to help prepare the golf course for daily member play.</li>

• Perform mowing of greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and croquet lawns. - Note: Walk mowing is our primary method of mowing. We are a small private par-3 golf club and do not have many riding mower positions available. 
• Perform cup cutting and course setup: move tee markers, change hole locations, and ensure playable conditions daily.
• Operate maintenance equipment (mowers, utility carts, blowers, etc.) safely and effectively.
• Assist with irrigation: hand-watering, checking sprinkler heads, and reporting leaks or issues.
• Perform routine golf course tasks such as bunker raking, divot filling, edging, topdressing, and debris removal.
• Help with landscape maintenance: trimming, pruning, planting, and seasonal projects.
• Follow all safety protocols and report hazards or equipment problems immediately.
• Work closely with supervisors and crew members to complete tasks efficiently and to quality standards.
Qualifications
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a reliable way to get to work.
• At a minimum, should have experience with walk mowing or demonstrate a willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform outdoor physical work in Florida weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, good attitude, reliability, and attention to detail.
Schedule &amp; Compensation
• Standard schedule: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM four days per week, one half-day (until 11:30 AM), plus a short morning shift on either Saturday or Sunday (6:30–9:30 AM).
• We are also open to part-time employees, especially those able to walk mow greens.
