What You'll Do
- Conduct patient assessments, intakes, admissions, discharges, and treatment planning
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling
- Develop and document individualized treatment plans and patient progress
- Perform at least 20 hours of direct patient counseling each week
- Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary treatment team
- Educate patients on recovery, relapse prevention, and healthy coping strategies
- Obtain urine drug screens and support ongoing patient monitoring
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and applicable regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Human Services-related field required
- Experience in behavioral health, substance use disorder (SUD), addiction treatment, case management, or mental health is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Passion for helping individuals recover from opioid addiction
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative healthcare environment
