POSITION OVERVIEW
Funky Buddha Brewery is seeking a skilled, hands-on leader to oversee all mechanical and facility maintenance across our brewery. This hybrid role combines technical expertise in brewery equipment—particularly canning and bottling line systems—with ownership of building and grounds maintenance. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical aptitude, experience in a brewery or beverage production environment, and the ability to balance daily technical work with proactive facility management. This is a first-shift, salaried position that requires flexibility and occasional on-call availability to address urgent equipment issues during second-shift production operations.&nbsp;

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Mechanical &amp; Equipment Maintenance&nbsp;
• Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance efforts on all production/packaging equipment, including, but not limited to, canning line equipment (filler/seamer, cartoner, tray former, de-palletizer), brewing/cellar equipment (pumps, motors, pneumatic and hydraulic valves, compressed gas system, boiler) to minimize downtime.&nbsp;
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules to support uninterrupted production and packaging goals.&nbsp;
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and vendor interactions.&nbsp;
• Support and train production staff in basic troubleshooting and safe operation practices.&nbsp;
Facilities Management&nbsp;
• Oversee all facility operations, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and structural maintenance.&nbsp;
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for inspections, service contracts, and repairs.&nbsp;
• Ensure the facility meets safety, sanitation, and environmental standards.&nbsp;
• Plan and execute facility improvement projects, including equipment installations or layout adjustments.&nbsp;
• Manage budgets and procurement for maintenance supplies, parts, and capital improvements.&nbsp;
• Respond to emergency maintenance and troubleshooting requests (all hours).&nbsp;
Leadership &amp; Collaboration&nbsp;
• Serve as the primary contact for all maintenance and facility-related needs across departments.&nbsp;
• Partner with Brewing, Packaging, and Operations teams to support production goals and efficiency.&nbsp;

QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, ideally in a brewery, beverage, or food manufacturing environment.&nbsp;
• Proven ability to maintain and repair canning/bottling line systems and related equipment.&nbsp;
• Experience in facilities management or building maintenance required.&nbsp;
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.&nbsp;
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical drawings.&nbsp;

You’ll be part of the team that keeps automation projects moving. At ProAutomated, we don’t install systems, we partner with system integrators and manufacturers to ensure everything works flawlessly when it matters most.

<li>Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems in industries like food and beverage.</li>
<li>Partner with automation and controls engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate their systems on-site.</li>
<li>Provide clear communication and updates to customers and project teams to keep progress smooth and accurate.</li>
<li>Typical travel rotations follow a days on &amp; off schedule: 5 on - 2 off, 10 on – 4 off, or 14 on – 7 off. Every project brings new challenges and new locations.</li>
