POSITION PURPOSE:
The General Manager is responsible for managing day to day operations of Food &amp; Beverage operations. This is a hands-on position that includes oversight of all aspects of operations including cost of sales, customer experience and revenue growth. Must be able to be proactive in solving problems and identify new revenue opportunities evaluating risk/reward formula in decision making process.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Daily walkthrough providing feedback to various areas</li>
<li>Menu development revision of menus as required</li>
<li>Management of all financial reporting including but not limited to inventory, revenue and customer satisfaction</li>
<li>Assist accounting with any follow up needed with daily operational items (cash drop variance, credit cards, accounts receivable, payroll, etc.) </li>
<li>Provide assistance as needed with other F&amp;B operations or projects within Suntex</li>

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

<li>Proven work experience as an Restaurant Manager, general Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role preferred</li>
<li>Proficient in the following dimension of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports</li>

Set up of Catering Events &amp; Banquet rooms; serve food and beverages in a friendly, courteous and professional manner according to Trump National Doral - Miami ’s high standards of service.

<li>Serve food and beverages in the order and to the expectation of the Banquet Leader to ensure consistency throughout the banquet. Promptly bus dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal at the end of the meal and function.</li>
<li>Replenish beverages as necessary, and check with guests for overall satisfaction.</li>
<li>Once banquet is complete, reset banquet room according to Captain's specifications to ensure the readiness of the room for the following function.</li>

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort.
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Doral Golf Resort &amp; Spa from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Associates with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
Due to the industry that we are in, a need will occur for each associate to provide “Lateral Service”. Our goal is to ensure that we are maximizing customer satisfaction and as result there will be times when our associates in Operations will call upon us for support in order to ensure customer satisfaction occurs. They are responsible for effectively opening the store and/or effectively closing the store. The Shift Leader must emphasize and model Plum Market’s Guest Service standards.
