POSITION SUMMARY
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine, hand wash stations pot-scrubbing station, and trash compactor. Job Summary
 Summary: Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. Ensures the accurate execution of all events during his/her shift. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up and serves at functions; cleans event area during and after events; breaks down the setup and leaves the area neat and clean; returns leftover food and equipment to the catering facility in a timely manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations. </li>
<li>Logs and maintains food temperatures. </li>
<li>Arranges tables and decorations. </li>
<li>Arranges buffet tables with food, beverage and service items according to standards. </li>
<li>Serve food and beverages to guests. </li>
<li>Thoroughly cleans location after event is completed. </li>
<li>Returns food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils to catering facility. </li>
<li>Distributes and collects customer comment cards for catered functions. </li>
<li>Stocks, cleans and maintains catering facility and equipment. </li>
<li>Ensures guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times. </li>
<li>Maintains in-depth knowledge of complete menu and products on hand. </li>
<li>Maintains clean and safe work environment. </li>

CATERING ATTENDANT (FULL TIME)

Typical duties include:
Job Description: At Bill Hansen Catering, our Event Drivers are responsible for transporting event equipment, along with food and beverage items, and in assisting the set up/breakdown of catering events. The driver is to arrive at the time along with the event’s supervisor and staff and stay till the conclusion of the event. The driver’s responsibilities include the following:
- Transportation of catering equipment, food and beverage items to and back from events
- Unloading and loading of catering equipment, food and beverage items at the commissary and at events.
o Staging items in the corresponding locations according to the event supervisor
o Assist in locating items in reference to the events equipment pullsheet
o Offload any dirties, food and necessary equipment needed upon arrival to the commissary following an event.
- Assist with the set up/breakdown of catering events and “Back of House” operations including kitchen spaces and equipment breakdown stations.
o Setting up the breakdown station(s) for glassware, silverware and plates
o Assist with the clearing of used plates, glassware and utensils
o Re-load all equipment, supplies, dirties, food and beverage back into the truck or van.
- Liquor Replenishment
o Oversee all back up beverage (soda, juices, water, liquor, wine and beer) quantities and assist bartenders/ bar backs with bar replenishment.
- Depending on the scenario, the Event Driver might need to leave the event to purchase or retrieve supplies either at the store or from another event.
Warehouse Driver:
Job Description: At Bill Hansen Catering, our Warehouse Drivers are responsible for retrieving supplies and rental vehicles and delivering food and beverage for either event tastings or drop off contracts.
- Supplies Retrieval
o Drivers are also responsible for picking up supply orders from various local vendors (i.e. Total Wine, Pantry Liquors, Restaurant Depot etc.)
- Rental Retrieval/Vehicle Maintenance
o Warehouse Drivers are responsible for retrieving all rental vehicles used throughout the season from U-Haul, Nextran or Ryder.
o Drivers are also to transport/drop off all BHC Vehicles for maintenance and repair.
- Food and Beverage Delivery
o Warehouse Drivers are responsible for delivering food and beverages for drop offs at private homes and offices and for event tastings typically hosted at our Villa Woodbine location.
Requirements:
· Ability to read, speak and understand the English language in order to communicate with staff.
· Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, staying on your feet, climbing stairs, carrying weight up to 40lbs.
· Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
· Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred qualifications:
· Licenses or certificates
· Prior warehouse experience required.
· Prior leadership experience required
· High school diploma or equivalent
