Job Title: DENTAL ASSISTANT
Location: Biohax Dental, 4141 NE 2nd Ave #106A, Miami, FL 33137
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM

- Nutritional counseling as part of dental treatment, recognizing the link between diet and oral health.
- Advanced, holistic treatments such as safe mercury removal, ozone therapy, ceramic implants, and TMJ/TMD treatments.

Key Responsibilities
- Take high-quality digital X-rays
- Place and remove Invisalign attachments
- Perform intraoral scanning using iTero
- Take dental impressions (digital and traditional when required)
- Assist the doctor during surgical and implant procedures
- Fabricate and adjust temporary crowns
- Prepare operatories before and after procedures
- Maintain proper sterilization of instruments and compliance with infection control protocols
- Manage and track dental inventory, supplies, and lab cases
- Ensure a clean, organized laboratory and clinical environment at all times
- Work comfortably across multiple operatories in a fast-paced setting
- Support holistic dental procedures (ozone therapy, PRF-related workflows, biocompatible materials)
- Educate patients on post-op instructions and basic oral care when appropriate
- Assist with front desk tasks when needed (patient flow, basic communication)
- Maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
- Demonstrate willingness to learn and grow within the practice, including openness to completing a phlebotomy course for PRF therapy
Qualifications & Skills
- Dental Assistant experience required
- Good English communication skills (Spanish is a plus)
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Comfortable assisting in surgical and comprehensive treatment cases
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional demeanor with patients and team members
- Interest in holistic / biological dentistry is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: $23–$25 per hour, performance-based
