Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A skilled Cath Lab Technologist with a minimum of two years experience is needed for a contract position in Inverness, FL. This role requires competency in scrubbing Cath Lab cases, including those involving Impella and Balloon Pumps, ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced cardiac catheterization environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Certified Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or ARRT certification required
- Proficiency in scrubbing Cath Lab procedures, including Impella and Balloon Pump cases
- Ability to work effectively during overnight call shifts and weekends
Schedule/Hours:
- Four 10-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- 1-2 overnight call shifts per week
- One weekend of call approximately every 5 weeks
- Overtime must be pre-approved
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist during cardiac catheterization and related invasive cardiac procedures
- Scrub cases with precision and attention to sterile technique, including complex cases involving mechanical circulatory support devices
- Collaborate with the cardiac care team to ensure patient safety and procedure efficiency
- Respond to on-call shifts promptly and maintain readiness for emergency procedures
