Responsibilities:
- Implement and adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of preschool children.
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children in the classroom and during outdoor activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Assist with daily activities, including arts and crafts, storytelling, and playtime.
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children's progress and behavior.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and learning materials.
- Support the lead teacher in managing classroom dynamics and implementing educational programs.
- Observe and assess children's development and report any concerns to the lead teacher.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in early childhood education preferred.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and parents.
- Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and teaching styles.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Passion for early childhood education and nurturing young learners.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling.
- Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
