KidsLife Naples is seeking a passionate, nurturing, and energetic Preschool Teaching Assistant to join our team of educators dedicated to creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally rich environment for young children. Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with Florida Early Learning Standards
- Foster a warm, inclusive classroom environment that supports emotional, social, and cognitive growth
- Maintain daily routines including circle time, learning centers, outdoor play, and transitions
- Ensure safety and cleanliness in accordance with state licensing and KidsLife protocols
- Observe and document childrens progress; communicate effectively with families
- Collaborate with fellow staff on curriculum planning, events, and professional development
- Uphold all health, safety, and emergency preparedness procedures
- Help with other tasks to support Preschool Operations
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 18 years of age minimum, High School Diploma
- Interest in obtaining Teacher's Credentials
- Willing to learn and follow directions of superior staff teachers.
- Willing to work with 1-2 year old children.
- Prefer 1 year experience in a licensed preschool or childcare setting.
- Strong understanding of child development and positive guidance techniques
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Level II background screening clearance required
