The Opportunity:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable QA/QC Technician to join our pizza production team. This role is responsible for ensuring that products meet quality and safety standards throughout all stages of production. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of food safety protocols, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with production and management teams.

Position Responsibilities:
Perform regular inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods for compliance with company specifications and regulatory standards.
Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and ensure Food Safety Plan/FSMA compliance throughout the facility.
Record, review, and report findings from quality checks and audits.
Assist in the calibration and maintenance of measuring and testing equipment.
Investigate non-conformities and work with production to resolve issues quickly and accurately.
Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying trends, reporting defects, and proposing solutions.
Verify labels, lot codes, packaging, and weights are within acceptable ranges.
Participate in internal audits and assist with documentation during audits.
Ensure all QA/QC logs, records, and forms are completed accurately and on time.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree in Food Science, Biology, or related field is a plus.
24 years of experience in a food manufacturing or quality control environment preferred.
Working knowledge of food safety standards including HACCP, GMPs, SQF or similar certification.
PCQI certification is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment.
Comfortable standing, lifting, and moving in a cold or hot production setting.
Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, QA tracking systems).

Schedule and Work Environment:
Full-time position: schedule includes early morning/evening shifts Monday through Friday based on production needs. Work is performed primarily on the production floor and occasionally in the office.
