Job Title: Quality Inspector
Shift: Mon-Fri 9am-5:00pm
Pay: $16-18/hr
Location: Boca Raton , FL
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team in supporting aviation parts inspection and quality assurance. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements, maintaining documentation accuracy, and preventing nonconformities in aerospace distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inspections and process receipts using warehouse management and customer systems.
- Prepare and certify materials in accordance with established quality standards.
- Ensure all customer-specific requirements are met.
- Support and perform internal Quality Management audits.
- Identify and prevent product nonconformities.
- Package goods for hazardous shipments in compliance with regulations.
- Maintain and generate FAA documentation for approvals (e.g., 8130 forms).
- Make proactive decisions to prevent customer disruptions.
- Report all non-conformities and irregularities in processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2years of experience in an aviation environment performing quality inspection functions.
- Strong knowledge of aviation and aircraft parts, including traceability and documentation standards.
- Familiarity with 8130 forms and FAA documentation processes.
- Experience with SAP and inbound visual inspections.
- Understanding of aerospace distribution and avionic components.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- No need for calipers or micrometers—focus is on documentation and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- A&P license or equivalent aviation experience.
- Prior experience with domestic and foreign aviation parts quality requirements.
- Ability to train others on 8130 documentation processes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BOCA RATON, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
