Job Description
The Sr. IT Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for implementing, optimizing, and supporting both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure. This role requires hands-on experience with cloud platforms (such as Azure, AWS, or OCI), hybrid environments, and automation, ensuring high availability, security, and seamless integration across all systems.
Responsibilities
• Manage and monitor all installed systems, infrastructure, and cloud resources, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Architect, deploy, and support cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI), including virtual networks, storage, compute, and cloud-native services.
• Lead and execute cloud migration projects, ensuring secure and efficient transitions from on-premises to cloud environments.
• Implement and support identity and access management, including integration with cloud-based identity providers (e.g., Azure AD, AWS IAM).
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies for both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Write and maintain custom scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency across hybrid infrastructure.
• Monitor and test network and cloud performance, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Provide L2/3 escalation support for both traditional and cloud infrastructure.
• Liaise with vendors and cloud service providers for problem resolution and service optimization.
• Create and maintain comprehensive infrastructure and cloud architecture diagrams, SOPs, and technical documentation.
• Lead assigned projects and implement automation using cloud-native tools and services.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on cloud best practices.
Skills
• Proven experience in enterprise deployments of Microsoft Azure, O365, Active Directory, and other cloud technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS and/or OCI for infrastructure deployment, automation, and security.
• Experience architecting, designing, and implementing disaster recovery solutions across hybrid and cloud environments.
• Deep understanding of technology infrastructure, integration, and cybersecurity, including cloud security frameworks.
• SME in Windows server solutions and cloud-based virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Azure/AWS virtual machines).
• Experience with automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, Azure CLI).
• Project management skills for cloud transformation and infrastructure initiatives.

Education/Technology
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., Azure Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
• CompTIA A+ or other IT-related certifications preferred.
