Key Responsibilities
Conduct site assessments to identify weed types, infestation levels, and environmental factors.

  • Safely mix, load, and apply herbicides, pesticides, and other chemical treatments using sprayers, backpacks, or truck-mounted equipment.
  • Follow integrated pest management (IPM) practices to minimize environmental impact and ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Maintain and calibrate spraying equipment, vehicles, and tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Document treatments, including application rates, weather conditions, and results, using mobile apps or logs.
  • Collaborate with landscaping teams to integrate weed control into broader maintenance plans.
  • Provide excellent customer service by educating clients on treatment plans and follow-up care.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper PPE usage and hazardous material handling.

Qualifications and Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; certification in pesticide application (e.g., EPA or state-specific license) preferred or willingness to obtain within 90 days.

  • 2+ years of experience in lawn care, pest control, or related field; entry-level candidates with strong enthusiasm will be considered.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record; ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Knowledge of herbicide types, application techniques, and weed identification; familiarity with equipment like boom sprayers a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and a safety-first mindset.

What We Offer
Competitive pay with performance-based incentives and overtime opportunities.

  • Ongoing training and certification support to advance your career.
  • Company-provided vehicle, equipment, and uniforms.
  • A supportive, team-oriented culture with opportunities for growth into supervisory roles.
  • Employee discounts on services and a fun, collaborative work environment.
