Overview: LHH is partnering with a respected law firm to find a detail-oriented and experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal to join their creditors' rights legal team. This is an exciting opportunity for a legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting attorneys through all phases of bankruptcy cases and related litigation. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a deep understanding of bankruptcy procedures, and a proactive approach to legal support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in preparing and filing bankruptcy-related documents, including proofs of claim, stay relief motions, and objections in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 cases.
  • Gather, review, and organize case-related information and documentation.
  • Maintain and update case files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Draft and review legal documents such as motions and briefs.
  • Support the discovery process and manage case deadlines.
  • Stay current on changes in bankruptcy rules and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a legal setting.
  • Florida Registered Paralegal certification preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of bankruptcy law and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and document management tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Details:

  • Employment Type: Direct Hire
  • Compensation: up to $90,000 annually
  • Benefits provided by the firm.



Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
