Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) degree, active Physical Therapy Assistant license, and 1+ years Physical Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Physical Therapist Assistant is needed for a full-time, contract position supporting K-12 students within a public school district in Eustis, FL, starting ASAP through May 29, 2026. This role requires professional licensure and proven school-based experience.

Responsibilities include providing physical therapy services to approximately 40 active students across multiple school locations. The position is itinerant, requiring flexibility to serve various campuses within the district. The work schedule is full-time, with 37.5 hours weekly (8 hours per day plus a 30-minute unpaid break).

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Professional Physical Therapist Assistant license
  • Minimum 0-2 years of experience working in a school-based setting; preference given to candidates with 3+ years
  • Ability to manage a caseload of diverse K-12 students
  • Skilled in conducting student consultations and delivering therapy as appropriate
  • Reliable for on-site assignments across multiple schools
