Job DescriptionDescription:Job Summary

TESS is an industry leader servicing the Mega Yacht Industry. We are seeking skilled Electrical Engineers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and producing detailed electrical drawings and systems for a wide range of marine applications, including Alarm Monitoring Systems (AMS), Power Management Systems (PMS), Motor Control Centers (MCC), lighting systems, and other vessel electrical systems.

This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position offering a flexible schedule, professional development assistance, health benefits, and paid vacation time.


Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Design, develop, and improve electrical systems and products for marine applications.
  • Create detailed electrical drawings and documentation.
  • Establish and support manufacturing and installation processes.
  • Evaluate system safety, reliability, and performance.
  • Design, control, and implement electrical systems in accordance with project requirements.
  • Develop designs in compliance with global engineering codes, standards, and marine regulations.
  • Ensure installations and applications meet customer specifications and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams to develop and implement new system processes.
  • Analyze, summarize, and report test data and results.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Automation Systems, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of related professional experience required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods while working at a desk and on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
