Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialized role in cardiac imaging and interventional procedures is available on a contract basis in Safety Harbor, FL. This position requires a skilled Radiology Technologist with robust experience in cath lab and EP lab environments. The role demands strong competence with cardiac cath procedures, EP studies, and ideally some vascular studies, supported by familiarity with advanced PHILIPS equipment and Cerner charting systems. Candidates must hold active BLS, ACLS, and CCI RCE credentials, with at least one year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform imaging and radiology procedures in a high-acuity cath lab and EP lab setting.
• Assist with cardiac catheterizations and electrophysiology studies according to established protocols.
• Operate and maintain PHILIPS imaging equipment ensuring quality and safety.
• Document procedures accurately using Cerner electronic charting.
• Respond to on-call duties as needed, supporting urgent and emergent cases.
• Adhere to all patient safety and infection control policies within a Level II Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma acute care facility.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Certified Radiology Technologist with current BLS, ACLS, and CCI RCE certifications.
• Minimum one year of cath lab or EP lab experience; first-time cath lab techs will not be considered.
• Proven proficiency on PHILIPS imaging equipment.
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records is highly preferred.
• Ability to work a 4x10-hour day schedule (07:00 to 17:30), with weekend and on-call availability.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, short-term acute care environment with 615 staffed beds.

• Contract position with guaranteed hours after the first call off per pay period.
