Seeking a reliable and flexible PRN Medical Assistant to join our team and provide high-quality, on-call clinical and administrative support. The ideal candidate will possess strong patient care skills, adaptability across various healthcare settings, and a commitment to excellence in both front and back office operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient service by assisting physicians and healthcare professionals in the examination and treatment of patients.
- Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.
- Perform basic X-Ray procedures under the supervision of licensed radiology technologists.
- Assist with patient inhalation treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Apply knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to accurately perform medical procedures.
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and coding medical procedures.
- Assist with basic life support measures in emergency situations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a hospital setting to ensure quality patient care.
Skills:
- Excellent patient service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with both patients and staff
- Proficient in taking accurate vital signs and documenting appropriately
- Medication administration techniques and safety protocols
- Familiarity with basic x-ray procedures and equipment operation
- Understanding human physiology to perform medical procedures accurately and safely.

Requirements:
Experience:
- EMR systems, 1 year (Preferred)
- Previous experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is a plus.
License/Certification:
- EMA/EHR certification (Preferred)
- CPR/BLS (Preferred)
