The Sears Anti-Aging Institute is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our patient‑centered, regenerative medicine clinic delivering concierge‑level care. The CMA will work closely with our physician and staff to provide hands‑on clinical support (rooming, phlebotomy, EKG) and quickly build competency across our core therapies (IVs, laser IVs, ECP, and transcranial).
This role offers the unique opportunity to gain hands-on training in advanced therapies such as stem cells, lasers, hyperbaric oxygen, hormone balancing, PRP, peptides, and chelation, while also managing essential patient care and administrative functions.
The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within our regenerative medicine therapies. Independent in providing our core therapies with training by ~week 2, with targeted Stem Cell and Hyperbaric Oxygen certifications by ~90 days. High performers have a clear growth path toward Supervisor/Manager responsibilities.

Requirements
What You’ll Do
Patient Care & Therapies
- Greet, room, and prepare patients; capture vitals and histories; maintain exceptional bedside communication.
- Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture and EKG; manage specimen handling/documentation.
- Learn, administer and monitor core therapies: IVs and laser IVs, ECP, transcranial; operate devices per protocol with impeccable safety and hygiene.
- Educate patients on pre‑/post‑treatment instructions and monitor for adverse reactions.
Front Desk & Flow Support
- Flex to the front desk when not with patients (check‑in/out, phones, scheduling) to keep patient flow smooth and wait times low.
- Prepare rooms and equipment; oversee laundry/turnover for hyperbaric and other therapies.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Follow all SOPs and clinical standards; complete read/attest + quiz sign‑offs for assigned protocols.
- Protect patient privacy and confidentiality (HIPAA) in all settings (clinical, admin, and reception).
- Participate in protocol updates with version control; raise improvement ideas when you see them.

Medical Requirements
- Current CMA (AAMA or equivalent) or demonstrably equivalent MA training/experience; phlebotomy and EKG competency at hire.
Key areas of ownership that you will drive forward for the organization personally, and collaborating cross-functionally
- Delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate patient care across all core therapies and procedures.
- Maintaining compliance with clinical protocols, documentation standards, and HIPAA requirements.
- Supporting seamless patient flow by flexing between clinical care and front desk responsibilities.
- Taking ownership of equipment readiness, room turnover, and supply management.
- Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying workflow efficiencies and suggesting updates to SOPs.
You should bring expertise in these areas and can help to uplevel the team in:
- Experience: Current CMA (AAMA or equivalent) or equivalent medical assisting background, with demonstrated competency in phlebotomy and EKG at hire.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of patient rooming, vitals, blood draws, IV administration, and safe operation of clinical devices.
- Soft Skills: Compassionate bedside manner, professionalism, teamwork, and clear communication with patients and staff.
- Growth Mindset: Eagerness to learn advanced regenerative therapies (IVs, laser IVs, ECP, transcranial, stem cells, HBOT, etc.) and quickly build independence.
Professional Standards: Attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to delivering concierge-level care.
30‑60‑90 Day Expectations
Within 30 Days, You’ll:
- Week 1: Complete onboarding and compliance training.
- Week 1: Shadow providers and staff to understand patient workflows.
- Week 1: Begin taking vitals, prepping rooms, and supporting basic procedures.
- Week 1: Build rapport with patients and staff, demonstrating professionalism and care.
- Week 2: Independently perform rooming, vitals, phlebotomy/EKG; operate at least two therapies (e.g., ECP + transcranial).
- Week 3: Add IVs and laser IVs under supervision; support front‑desk overflow; run 4–6 therapy sessions/day with minimal deviation.
Within 60 Days, You’ll:
- Assist independently with IVs, blood draws, and patient communications.
- Understand and be able to complete all opening and closing procedures
- Support advanced therapies under supervision.
- Manage scheduling, room prep, and equipment readiness with minimal oversight.
- Suggest workflow improvements to enhance patient experience.
Within 90 Days, You’ll:
- Confidently assist with all therapies and procedures offered in the clinic.
- Take full ownership of assigned patients and administrative tasks.
- Be recognized as a trusted, integral member of the care team.
- Earn Stem Cell and Hyperbaric Oxygen certificates
- Achieve independence across core modalities.
- Propose SOP/process improvement and ability to mentor newer teammates on protocols you’ve mastered.
Work Hours & Reporting
- Standard schedule Mon–Fri, 9:00 a.m.–5:00/6:00 p.m.
- Reports to Clinic Manager/Physician.
