Accountants One has a repeat client who is looking for a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in South Florida. Must have NHA License.
Relocation Assistance is possible.
Position Summary
- Provides overall leadership and operational oversight for the skilled nursing community
- Ensures high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and achievement of business objectives
- Promotes a resident-centered culture aligned with organizational values
Qualifications
- Active Georgia Nursing Home Administrator license
- Bachelor’s degree required; healthcare-related field preferred
- Three to five years of nursing home administrator experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building abilities
- Working knowledge of Georgia nursing home, Medicare, and Medicaid regulations
- Genuine compassion for elderly and disabled residents
- PointClickCare experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations in alignment with organizational priorities and timelines
- Execute operational plans, programs, and budgets in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Build, mentor, and lead an engaged management team accountable for departmental results
- Maintain compliance and support strong survey outcomes and quality ratings
- Conduct routine rounds to assess resident care, staff morale, and facility conditions
- Manage financial performance, including labor costs, payables, and receivables
- Communicate budget expectations and operational goals to department leaders
- Develop positive relationships with residents, families, regulators, physicians, vendors, and community partners
- Ensure the facility and grounds are safe, clean, and well-maintained
- Recognize strong performance, coach staff as needed, and maintain the confidentiality of all resident and community information
