Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in structural design for construction projects, with a strong focus on flood barrier installation, resilience, and compliance with building codes.

Qualifications

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Structural or Civil Engineering with structural emphasis
• 4-8 years of structural engineering experience, with at least 2 years post-licensure
• Proficiency with structural analysis/design software (RISA, ETABS, SAP2000, RAM, STAAD)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and analyze structural components for buildings and flood barriers
  
  
• Prepare detailed structural calculations, drawings, and specifications for flood barrier installation projects
  
  
• Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and construction teams to ensure projects are safe, compliant, and efficiently executed
  
  
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and contractor proposals
  
  
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and flood protection standards
  
  
• Conduct inspections and site visits to monitor construction progress, quality, and safety
  
  
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and budgeting
