Experienced Dental Assistant – Surgical & Orthodontic Focus

We are a growing specialty dental practice seeking a motivated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical assisting, with hands-on experience in orthodontics, phlebotomy (blood draws), and surgical procedures.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the doctor during surgical and orthodontic procedures

• Preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments

• Drawing blood and handling specimens according to protocol

• Taking dental X-rays and Digital impressions

• Assisting with patient preparation, education, and post-op instructions

• Maintaining accurate clinical records

• Ensuring a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1–2 years of dental assisting experience

• Experience with orthodontic procedures required

• Experience with surgical assisting required

• Phlebotomy/blood draw experience strongly preferred

• X-ray certification (per state requirements)

• Strong chairside manner and professionalism

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
