Job Description
Position Summary: Under the supervision, and/or direction of the Nursing Director / Clinical Manager, Resource Nurse, or Staff Nurse, performs various duties in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with established functions and procedures of the hospital.
Position Qualification:
<ul>
<li>High School graduate or equivalent work experience or</li>
<li>Minimum of six months experience as a Patient Care Tech in a hospital setting OR</li>
<li>EKG, Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant Certification; or</li>
<li>Foreign Nurse/Physician with appropriate documentation</li>
<li>Nursing Student that completed 1st year of Nursing School</li>
<li>Requires a thorough knowledge of basic nursing functions to meet patient needs for ADL's must be able to work rapidly under stressful situations with many interruptions.</li>
<li>Must successfully complete Glucometer training and pass online testing module.</li>
</ul>
Licenses/Certifications:
<ul>
<li>Required BLS certification from the American Red Cross</li>
</ul>
 
Must clear background and drug test required.
