Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are needed to provide support in a K-12 school setting near Stuart, Florida. This position offers an opportunity to work directly with children in a school environment, ideal for candidates with school or pediatric experience.
Location: Jupiter, FL
Assignment: Contract, Current School Year (CSY)
Schedule: Full-time with consideration for part-time; follows school calendar with no weekend work
Work Environment: Onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering speech and language services to students
- Support individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy sessions tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with school staff and families to promote effective communication development
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with confidentiality standards
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for school or healthcare settings
- Experience working in schools or pediatrics is preferred
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
- Ability to work onsite during school hours
