Job Title: Project Manager / Site Construction Manager / Estimator
Location: Pembroke Pines, FL (50–75% Travel Required)
Industry: Heavy Industrial – Cement, Mining, Minerals
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $130,000–$135,000 annually (equivalent to $2,500/week)
Start Date: Immediate
Position Summary
We are seeking a results-driven construction leader to serve as both a Project Manager and Estimator, with responsibilities spanning both field execution and pre-construction phases. This role demands a strong communicator and problem-solver experienced in managing heavy industrial projects, particularly in the cement, mining, or minerals sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Management

Lead project scope, schedule, safety, and cost performance

Supervise job site setup, layout, inspection, and execution

Ensure accurate and timely project documentation and safety compliance

Manage subcontractor and vendor coordination on-site
Estimating & Pre-Construction

Develop and review estimates, bid proposals, and pre-construction plans

Analyze drawings, specifications, and vendor/sub scopes

Support client engagement and business development efforts when not deployed
Leadership & Compliance

Train and direct teams to meet project and regulatory standards (OSHA/MSHA)

Maintain control of jobsite assets and ensure safe, presentable conditions

Monitor and enforce lien notice procedures and cost recovery for T&M and extra work

Ensure accurate daily reporting, billing, and payroll documentation
Procurement & Operations

Issue and track purchase orders per internal guidelines

Maintain proper documentation for all purchases and field transactions

Travel to project sites as needed, including international assignments in Canada, Mexico, and South America
Qualifications
-
5+ years of experience in industrial construction project management or estimating

Strong background in cement, mining, or heavy industrial construction preferred

Skilled in interpreting construction drawings and managing field operations

Proficiency in estimating, scheduling, and project management tools

Ability to travel for extended periods (up to 3 weeks at a time)

Valid passport and driver’s license required
Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $130,000–$135,000 per year

Health Insurance: Employee coverage after 60 days (MEC Plus); partial reimbursement for existing coverage

2025: 1 week vacation + 5 personal/family days

2026+: 2 weeks vacation + 5 personal/family days

Vacation blackout from December 27 to June 1 (peak season)

Vehicle Stipend: $750/month + company gas card for business use

Travel Reimbursement: Lodging and one daily meal reimbursed when traveling more than 75 miles from home
