Job DescriptionPart-Time Group Fitness Instructor

Part Time Plantation Bay Golf and Country Club Spa is seeking a Group Fitness Trainer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a book of business through engaging with members, building rapport and offering a variety of classes. Plantation Bay is a close nit community where client referrals offer another avenue for business.

Available class needs types include:

• Strength Training
• Cardio Step
• Balance
• Stretch

A HIIT or boot camp style class is also a potential option. The instructor will have the freedom to design and create class format including selected exercises and music.

Responsibilities Include:

• Build a strong rapport and sense of community with members by maintaining a consistent schedule and providing safe and motivating classes for participants
• Prior to each class be prepared with any necessary equipment set up and appropriate music
• Participate in ongoing fitness industry education and maintain proof of current credentials
• Maintain professional relationships through communication and teamwork with all Plantation Bay staff to meet member and facility needs
• Excellent team-based communication with the capacity to receive and deliver feedback
• Ability to motivate a large group while providing cueing to all fitness levels

Pay Range is between $35.00 and $40.00 for per class.

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of group fitness instruction experience
• Possess General Liability Insurance
• Certified group fitness instructor
• CPR and AED Certified
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design

This is a 1099 position.
