Join a respected firm with over four decades of excellence in civil engineering and land surveying. Hanson Walter & Associates, Inc. (HWA) is seeking a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor to lead and manage survey operations in a dynamic, project-driven environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, motivated professional to play a key role in overseeing technical staff, directing field and office operations, and ensuring high-quality deliverables across a wide range of land development projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation of:

  • Legal Descriptions & Sketches

  • Boundary, Topographic, Tree, and ALTA Surveys

  • Construction Layouts, As-Builts, and Condominium Exhibits

  • Floodplain Determinations, Jurisdictional Wetland Surveys, ROW Mapping and Acquisitions

• Supervise and support field crews and CAD technicians
• Review and produce survey deliverables using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, and project teams to support planning, permitting, and construction phases

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PLS or PSM) – Required
• Minimum 5 years of professional surveying experience
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Ability to effectively manage teams and communicate with clients and internal stakeholders
